Hey ppl ,

just put in the new SARD 550cc side feed injectors and i noticed that the caps from the standard injectors do not fit over them so i installed the injectors without them on ..

just double checking to see if this will affect anything...

are they required for use or can i leave the caps off..??

Chris

If you are talking about the cap with the 2 screws you may need to remove the small plastic/rubber bit in the top of the cap to clear the top of the injector. I dont have these in mine and haven't had a problem.

If you are talking about the machined alloy ring that sards need to seal than you may have an issue.

Hi guys.... collars came with them and they are bolted in ok ..

what i was refering too was the cap that hold the original injectors in. what BHDave was refering too!

and if your going ok with the caps/covers i wont worry about putting them on now!
