Does anyone know how to remove 15 year old glue/gunk from under badges?

I took the badges of the boot lid of my car as i was sick of idiots trying to race me because my car says "turbo" on the back. and now i am left with "badge gunk"

is there a solvent that will remove it without runing the paint?

prepsol/prepwash/wax&grease remover. its a solvent that is used to clean panels before they are painted. this should help to soften the gunk, so as you can scrape it off. make sure you clean it all off with a dry cloth afterwards, because it can mark the paint if left on the panel.

Wax and grease remover....works a treat and will not harm your paint.
