One Speaker Louder Than The Other

hi i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and how they fixed it. I have just installed a new head unit and two new front speakers and i have noticed that the left speaker is louder and clearer than the right side. When i set the balance all the way to either side you can really notice the difference. the left speaker is much more clear and louder than the right. Ive connected the speakers and head unit correctly and cant work out what is causing it. any help would be appreciated.

faulty wiring at the speaker?

and are you sure you have them both wired with the FRONT wires? and not one with a rear speaker wire?

Purple and Green are the rear wires

White and Grey are the front wires

sounds like one speaker is wired out of phase.

try changing the positive and negative on ONE of the speakers only, to see if it helps.

if not, one of the speakers may be FUBAR
