I'll probrably end up getting a loan for half of my car mid next year also, not a huge loan but still enough to keep me busy on the payments no doubt

Borrowed the full amount for my car

Would have liked to pay cash and save few grand but couldnt wait the couple of years.

"I Boostzor hereby vouch that i will never again use public transport more than a couple of times a year"(all well and good for u eastern states ppl who actually have decent public transport system. Over here every house has 3 cars or more.)

My Skyline died in the first month of my first full time job and while beating the frell out of it on the side of the freeway i told myself i would never own such a hunk of junk again so i went and bought a Toyota.(was '80 c210 skyline btw)

So yeh bank will still own my baby for a few years to come:(

Best offer I could get for a lease was 2yrs/50% resid, I said "you're joking" and wrote a cheque. Funny thing is, the finance company was right, they do loose 50% f their value in 2 years:(

Lease is always the winner for a depreciating asset if you can get it pre-tax (salary sacrifice)

No car yet, I'm planning to import under the 15 year rule in 2004 (Can get either 1988/9 Cefiro or a 1989 R32 - R32 is at the top of my list) which is the only way you can import a modified car now also. Doesn't need compliance plates either = cheap way to import. I think it's worth the wait.
