My bro inlaw is a Detective Sergent in Vic,and yes they have a fleet of old cars for tailing and baiting for car theft etc. He has one somedays.

These guys were clearly not undercover, three dudes, one hell fat bastard... just having a bit of fun i think but like everyone has been saying, it is more car jacking that we should be concerned about... best thing is probably to drive straight to the nearest cop shop and park out the front... what can they do then?? Invite them in for coffee and cakes?

my brother used to own a done up CRX ... one night while visiting sydney a pulsar pulled up next to him at a set of lights ... one of the guys in the pulsar wound his window down and said "we want you car" while flashing a machete ... let's just say that they leant that my brother's understanding of sydney streets and the CRX's handling were quite well developed ... took about 3 minutes to lose them (yes, they tried keeping up)

personally I don't have any trouble with people following me ... the moment they see what's behind the wheel they tend to go away ... I stand 6'3" weigh in around 130kg and look somewhat like a bikie (that's the goatee's fault)

best way is to keep a mag light right next to your seat guys.. so if the coppa's do a search in your car and found a mag light, what are they gonna do? what its a torch!.. mag light is much better than a machete, well that is if coppa's do a search in your car more likely you will be in less trouble than having a machete in your car!

@Ronin 09, I live around there.. will be keeping my eye out on that car.. they are just jeolous people who can't afford a Skyline.
