Hi

Does anyone know if all six injectors are suppose to fire simultaneously on each stroke or are they supposed to fire individually on each cylinders intake stroke. As I removed the injectors from a RB25DET while fault finding and found that all six fire simultaneously on every stroke, which I expect is causing the engine to flood and therefore not start.I imagine the fuel is just pooling in the manifold until the inlet valves open and then just floods the spark plug.

Does anyone know ?As I didn't think it worked like that.

Thanks in advanced

Most EFI cars fire injectors sequentially on normal operation (ie individual). However during cranking, most cars actually batch fire (group) until the engine is started. Some cars also go to batch fire mode above a certian RPM eg 5000rpm.
