hey guys,

i think its time i replaced my R33 battery now as it is more than 12 years old and getting very weak (like the headlights deim when i use the power windows!!) anyways was wondering what sort of battery's you guys would reccomened for a good price? i couldnt find any infomation about R33 batteries on the manual either! cheers.

Modify the standard terminal connections to fit the bigger, more common battery terminal size, that is what I did. Just a little bending is required. You could always cut the old ones off and fit the clamp type ones.

Go look at the catalogue at supercheap / autobarn to see what rating battery the car needs (can't remember off the top of my head). Then get something at least that big.

Don't use a battery that's not sealed unless it is a special battery with a breather hose and no breathers on the caps.

You could also put a normal battery in a sealed box and have an externatl breather, but that is a pain. Easier just to get a sealed battery.
