Vented bonnets

Don't think I'm going to do it now. My car leaked radiator fluid the other day and I just snapped! I'm looking for other alternative cars to race and probably get rid of the line. Preferably light weight non-turbo cars.

Have you thought of getting some spacers and rasing the bonnet at the rear by 5cm ???

Some of my friends have done this and works quiet well....

At this point in time I'm so pi$$ed off with the car I don't want it anymore. I spent big dollars on it and it still can't keep cool. Maybe I'll calm down in a day or two but right now I'm researching open-wheelers. I had the idea of a Formula Ford but I've been pushed into looking into cars like a westfields or caterham, that way I can cruise with you boys on weekends.

How bout a stripped KF laser, those guys at the last track day were doing 2.05s and paid about $500 for the car.....

Mine's been running too hot since I boosted it too. So turn down boost, or just wait till winter - you did notice race cars don't come out in summer, right?

dark, it used to be mine. sold it to 2rismo (Adrian)

that thing you see is a fibreglass plastic thingy (very tech). does not behave when being painted no matter how much you treat it. ripples will always show up.

no.. i mean the vent..

will the edges be sanded down.. so its one smooth line.. rather than have a tack on vent..

Yeah I noticed it too Duncan. Harder on tyres and motor during summer.

Simply, more HP=more heat. In the case of turbo cars it's a lot more.
