I finished work and was home by 10am yay!

Was up around your area Buster, at the public school and near the council, certainly the worst/best hit area of all the Mtns.

GWH was closed from Katoomba-> Blackheath with near 100 semi-trailers parked along the side of the road all heading west.

Lucky I didn't have any deliveries for Blackheath coz they wouldn't have been delivered today

AFAIK it has never snowed in sydney, but remember that hge hail storm about 18 months ago....that was wierd, all of sydney covered in white...I even saw some kids making hailmen in a park!

When I lived in Canberra and drove my 180 early in the morning the low temps were the goods but the black ice you'd get at the same time meant slower, not faster

I think yesterday was the coldest day i have ever experienced (only been in Bluemountains for 4 months).

Didnt get over about 3 deg all day !!!

still some snow in the backyard thismorning from wednesday night !!!

GTR stayed in the shed though ....... 4wd is no match for black ice.
