I'm looking at setting up a supercharger set up i've sorced everything i need, i'm unsure though where im going to mount the supercharger but this is not my main problem, i wanted to know from someone who has set up a supercharger on an rb25de which is the best belt to take the supercharger from., i was originally thinking of modifying the crank pully to add on another belt connection but the clearances between the pully and the fan isnt a big enough gap without moving the ratiator, my second though was to add on the supercharger pully and a tensioner onto the alternatior belt as it is the widest belt but as the fan and the alternator are running off the same pully i was thinking mabye i might not get enough power for the supercharger to run effectivly, if anyone has any pictures or information of where they have modifyed the pully set up it would be quite helpful, Thankz heapz

Only way to get around P-plater restrections (buy a car under the power-weight ratio and modify it to reputable standarts)

your best bet is to throw a set of thermos on it, do away with the clutch fan giving u the extra clearance, i dont know what sort of blower your using but most will slip unless u get at least a 6 rib belt for it, piggy backing off the alternator may also destroy the alternator bearings.

thermos?? where can i get em from n bout how much, i was slightly worried about the belt slipping if i were to run it off a pre-existing belt, if i end up mounting it off the crank pully ill prob use a ribbed belt so it wont slip, i just need the extra clearance hopefully the thremos will help

Thinking of running a toyota 1ggze blower, picking it up for like $300 pretty good blowers might run bout 10-12psi outa it so at least i can compete with some of the turbos out there, im picking up the stock gts-t intercooler as well cause with running such low boost i dont need anything really special, i assume you have done a blower install on your's you got any pic's??

read my thread in here "Time for NA Power, the wait is over.." it doesnt really count though i have a V8 in my 33, or just click the link in my sig.

10-12 psi isnt low boost my friend and will kill your NA fairly quickly, i wouldnt recomend more then 5 or 6 on the standard ecu.

i was planning on upgrading to a piggy bak ecu with a month or so, i have a few mate who have supercharged their car's on 12 psi and had no prob's i figured the engine could handle but yeh not to sure
