I have no problems with the call to cancel the event. You cannot satisfy everyone when making such a decision but it was definitely justified. Even if it didn't rain, the track wasn't in any shape for some of the quicker cars that were ready to race. Bring on the next day. I will be there with bells on - driving not trailering. :D

Yup the dates offered were saturday 26/11 (27/11 was going to be sports compact but cancelled due to road works which don't effect 26/11), saturday 3/12, saturday 10/12 or sunday 11/12.

I only prefer sundays due to getting a weekend day to organise things but I think realistically the 10th and 11th are too close to the heat and christmas and too far from now.

So please vote here if you CAN'T come to either 26/11 or 3/12. The day with the least amount of 'can't make it's' will get the nod.

SAU Christmas Party December 11 free for Members , only $15 Non Members

Observation Cruise also on December 11 - info coming

11 looks pretty full for some members any way but i dont mind which day i think most of the falcodors drivers like the 3 dec and the rotas want straight away. So you pick and the rest of us will just have to deal with it.

asap is best as the longer we leave it (heat/humidity) the slower we all will go. We are in for the 26th or 3rd. Jim was kind enough to let us leave the car at Croydon's till we organise another day....dont want to over stay our welcome and take advantage of his generosity. Lets start praying for no-rain.

p.s. power fc pro might arrive from Nengun by then

I would also much prefer the 26th

The sooner the better. I can imagine it will be a hot summer. Little wind/ventilation means the cars are gonna be sitting out in the hot weather just warming up. Hot intercooler, radiator, oil cooler .....

But i suppose theres not much that can be done about it

BTW I confess I did the little burnout on the way out in the drag car waiting area with the wagon..I didnt realise that some people would be offended by this. ;) First time ive been...

Anyways Ill be wearing smokeless tyres and a silencer on the exhaust for those members with pacemakers next time.

I won't do it again...promise...

The wagon man.. :):O:P

it doesnt offend me Stav, the point is when WSID staff see that sort of thing they get annoyed and basically it means if that kind of behaviour is seen they will put an end to private test days. from speaking to an andra rep, the strict rule of no name on sheet no entry and maximum limits on pit crew and spectators was brought on by a rowdy crowds behaviour at a private test day, so they obvioulsy have the thoughts of if people are good they relax the rules, if people play up the make it stricter thats all.

i love a good smoke show..

also the 26th works out best for me and the BCNYA rotary.

december gets into family and work christmas parties etc.

lock in 2 votes for the 26th please eddie.
