I am staying in Brisbane for the next week. Never been before. Attending a work conference at the convention centre. Staying next to the Botanic Gardens. I want to go out on Sat nite. Any suggestions??

I suppose it depends on what your into and what sort of places you like...the family in the valley can usually cater for most tastes though.

As he said the valley is good for most tatses

dance scene and all that accompanies it = the family...if your into atmopshere etc you need to head into central brisbane though.

Where is the family?? how far from where i am staying?

the valley is like a 5min taxi ride...not far at all........on a saturday night heaps happens in bris but not alot is the "harcore dance scene"...you can easily walk around the city and check out the clubs, most reside on the few main streets around queen st mall.
