Rb26 Oil Pump On Rb20

just wondering if anyone knows if a RB26 oil pump will fit a RB20, is there anything to be gained from this as in pressure and flow

Yes they fit.

No there really is nothing to be gained.

New GTR pumps are cheaper than the Rb20DET pumps from Nissan.

I'm running a RB25DET in my rb30det.

Excellent oil pressure, definitely more than the old rb20det had. But it is a fresh motor that has been setup nice and tight so who knows really.

so theres nothing really to be gained other than the RB26 pump is cheaper. is it worth putting a N1 water pump on as it to go on a drift car

There are 2 models of RB26 oil pump, the early model (R32GTR and early R33GTR) will fit RB20/25/30 cranks. The later model RB26 oil pump (late R33GTR and R34GTR) will only fit via an adaptor ring.
