Hey peoples

I just installed an intercooler kit on my r33 gtst, anyways, because of the increased air flow, i figure that the afm in letting the ecu know theres to much air because the car is retarding at around 4500rpm obviously from a flat spot. This is rather annoying, and i was trying 2 decide the best way to resolve this. I figured that a new engine management system was the best bet, but i have to pay my insurance in like 3 weeks and decided not to spend to many dollars. If i get the car dyno tuned, will it resolve the problem or will it just be a waste of time... Also my car has a 3" exhaust system from the turbo back, a hi flowed stock turbo, large (600x300x76) cooler, k&n 3'' pod and stock bov (temporarily) as my blitz kit came off to make room for the new cooler piping. The piping is 2.5".... My question bout this is wat is that i wanna run a higher boost level but would like it to be at a safe level, wat should i run it at.

Cheers

Guesty

Problems

1) your running a hiflow with no management changes?

2) running higer boost with that stock ECU

you need an ECU is what im getting at here, and you have needed one since the turbo upgrade.

Ifits a decent hiflow when you turn up the boost then its gonna need a fuel pump and injectors also, which you'd do all at once with the ECU to save large tuning costs having to do it 2-3-4times.

As for the flatspot, thats normal. Thats what happens when you use the stocker ECU :P

PowerFC and take it to ICE Peformance
