Sunroof Sticking! How Do I Lubricate It?

Hi, i have an R32 with a sunroof. Recently the sunroof has started sticking while opening and closing and i need to give it a bit of a helping hand. Anyone else had this problem? Will lubricating it fix it? If so where should i put the lube and what should i use??

yeah, i got that same problem. I don't think it needs lubrication, i think that there is an engaging gear which is slipping. I'm yet to get around to it, but if you take off your map light and sunroof control panel, and then make the sunroof move by pressing the switch while the panel is out, you can see a gear moving when you look at the sunroof motor/mechanism. i think that might have something to do with it, but yeh, haven't bothered to look at it properly yet.

If anyone has a solution, i would also like to hear about it
