well... having blown all 4 speakers in the Cefiro I've decided to replace them..... However... I'm curious how to remove the speakers... and they have a "cover" over them and it almost looks like I will have to take out the rear parcel tray to get the buggers out!...

Any Suggestions?... OH, and how are you meant to pull the rear seats out?... if pulling tha parcel tray is the only option?

Cheers.

yep you would have to take the whole parcel tray which would include the covers itself. its attached by clips which you would have to push out from the trunk to gain access to the round rear speakers.

you dont have to take out the rear seats (which is very hard to do)

You will need to remove the parcel shelf.........I prefer to remove the rear seat to do this as it reduces the likelyhood of damaging the parcel shelf, they are quite brittle.

Removing the rear seat is not as hard as people make it out to be......lift the bas while pushing it towards the rear of the car, then get base out of car, then remove the 2 bolts at the bottom of the backrest and slide the backrest upwards and that will release the seat.

Have fun.

i can't get the back seat of my Ceffy out with your instructions.. i've tried pushing it towards the rear and lifting at the same time..

is there supposed to be any clips or sumthin like the R32?

There are a couple of clips under the front of the seat, they're about 8 inches in from the edge of the seat.

You have to give these a bit of tug, by pulling the seat up. Don't be scared.

Once they pop push down on the back of the seat to lever it out.
