yeah but if you just say you want a personal loan for a car, they might not say anything...its not a car loan

and yeah, the person that'll be doing mine is a friend of my brothers, so it should be sweet

I had no trouble as i didnt need a loan.

But a few mates have been stuffed around.

No matter how good your contact is your interest rate will still be higher than some. But if that doesn't bother you too much then its all good!

well this is how i decided it.

i checked out hsbc, and commonwealth.

commonwealth will get the money to me quicker than HSBC, by about 3 days, and considering that even with commonwealth, ill be getting the money just in time, if not a bit late...i went with them

HSBC also has like 3 branches which are all like 40mins to an hour away from me lol...

then the total cost...there was maybe, $60 in it at the end...so that wasn't really an issue...

then there's the fact that i can get guaranteed approval through this person, and she'll probably be able to overlook the $135 establishment fee ($199 at HSBC)

I went through suncorp metway and reasonably happy. Organised everything lncluding automatic repayments from my anz account ($200 per fortnight)

hmm just took out a small loan with commonwealth also.. just 7k.. no fee as im uni student.. but yea, it takes like 5mins to get a loan if you ring up.. was so easy!!!
