man only a couple inches off awesome get that shit slammed will look amazing

Hey All,

i have spent the last 45 mins going through all 78 pages of this thread lol and i cannot find any obvious combos with these sizes

I am looking to put these on my R33 GTST which has full height adj suspension but nothing else. I would like to avoid rolling the guards if I can but will if i have to.

19x9 +38

19x9.5 +45

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

yeh should fit, if anything might sit to far in but i think you'll clear all the necessary parts.

for whats its worth it wont look good but whatever suits you.

i have an r33 g-st with stock 16" wheels.mycaris already very low ( wheels sit in the guards slightly ) im looking at buying rims 18" 8.5 wide and +45 offset front and 18" 9.5 wide and +45 offset rear... would they fit and look good, if not any suggestions to what i should get without any mods.. thankyou

they will still be roughly an inch inside the guards

for 9.5's on the rear, +30 is flush with guards anything more will require at least a roll

+~20 is nice, sits 10mm out and +~10 is perfect (looks wise)

a good measure for the fronts is to use the same offset on a rim that is 1/2" thinner as a 9.5+30 can have inner clearance issues (however these disappear at +25)

thankyou for your reply.. would i have scrubing issues with my car being so low?

maybe if i went with 8.5 front +35

9.5 rear +30 ???

im worried ill buy some wheels and they will scrub inside the guards.. i bought it like this and dont want to have to mod anything

18x9.5 +12 on 235/40 tyres, will this fit on 33 GTST?

Running about -1.5 deg camber on rear atm (probably same for fronts but not sure), don't want to go any more than this.

Only rear guards rolled currently but will do fronts ASAP

cheers :)

easy man.

i'm currently on 9.5 +17 all round with 225 f and 235 r

i dont run camber on the rears to fit, so i pulled my guards a lil.

front guards can be moved easily once they are rolled... i just push and pull mine depending on what rims i am running lol

fwiw i just ordered some 18x9.5+12 all round that will be wearing 235/40/18 NT05's... will post pics when they arrive

Moar new rims? Been on the same set a few too many weeks have ya? :nyaanyaa:

Thanks for the advice, will hopefully snap them up tomorrow

plan:

18x9 +30 all round

225/40/18

stock 16's just tucking tyre on the rear and flush at the front,

anyone running a similar setup on their 32 gtst?

any modications i will need to do?

look for photos of r32 GTST with R33 GTR rims (17x9 +30)

Will give you an idea.

Here is a photo of 18x9 +30 (username: timr32gts)

im starting to think about getting new rims for my car, i have a 33 gtst with stock rims,

i think i will end up getting lenso D1R wheels in 18 inches and thinking 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears,

not too keen on flaring the gaurds maybe a roll what off set do you guys think?

seen a lot of different numbers going around and it confuses the crap outta me, even used the offset calc, but still not sure if its right!

edit: also on stock ride height atm

edit edit: or should i look at something like 8 and 9's?

    • From there it is trickier. Ecutek seems to be one of those closed ecosystems where everyone password protects their tunes which means I either choose a tuner and can't change from them and can't make any changes myself for any reason, or I have to buy the tuning software (about $4k) and then get someone to tune from scratch (which is not simple with all the multi dimensional tables these days). Once you buy about 300 "flash points" per ECU you can get it tuned and add their "RaceROM" function which hacks extra functionality like launch control onto the ECU, and also makes extra data available for logging over CAN Not sure what I'll do there yet; I'm tempted to use one of the overseas shops that does billions of remote tunes of the platform instead of starting from scratch locally, a lot can be done online these days.
    • Can I log IAT eh? Well, can now So next thing was looking at data logging. Not straight forward because none of the motorsport displays have cracked the nissan/inifinti CAN and ECU based displays don't do g logging, lap timing, predictive laps etc.  So, I bought an Ecutek dongle from Tunehouse (Oz distributor). Even without a tune onboard that allows display and logging of about 50 parameters via Android (and presumably iOS) app. Approx 600 for the bluetooth + Usb version That gives me (pretty ugly but) functional dash display on Android And logging of these parameters I'll play around a bit over the break, but at least now I can make sure I have oil pressure when I get to some track testing.
    • I don't know what globes/headlight connector they run, but I'd be looking for a female adapter to plug into the existing headlight on one side. Something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/256017245989 Then I'd use a pair of single input, double output relays (one for low, one for high), mount them in a spare space in the fuse box if you want to to look more original (and be easier to maintain). Then 2 new power sources from the main stud in the fuse box via a fuse to each relay. Low from the headlight adapter pin triggers low relay and high from the high headlight adapter pin triggers high and low. Earth the relays and new headlight sockets and off you go. Because it triggers off the original headlight all of the dipping/hi on/high flash all still works
