they can however it's better to remove them as the bolts that hold them in are pretty good as catching tyres if the car is low

also clearace is an issue... my tyres would hit the metal above on occasion so liners would have been destroyed anyway...

also it's a good idea to jimmy up something to hold the cables out of the way in the right front arch

this is true, Mine rubs the bolts occasionally coming in and out of driveways.

My thoughts too, but apparently not. While hard driving the lock seldom goes as far as while entering driveways. and the camber change is never that much on a road or track as it is coming up driveways.

Hey guys, Just had a quick read through this thread but couldn't really find anything about wheels for an r32 GTS-T coupe type M

- The guards aren't rolled or anything to my knowledge..

- I know nothing about offset/width and all that

I'm seeking advice on a nice sized wheel. I want 17" or might go 18"

The wheels on the car are ArchWheels.. So seedy they look like a spider web (bought with them on the car)

I have no idea what size they are, pretty sure they're 17's but the car is 110km away at my grandparents ready for a little makeover

So if you could give me some nice sizes with the specs etc.

Cheers Zane.

Anyone know the backspacing for standard r32 gtst wheels?

It looks like about 4 1/2 inches but im not sure.

Im liking these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crr-3978912/overview/

But im looking at how very close the hicas knuckle is.

I know they are steel, but the only other ones i really like are about $4000 (gold fabulous racing)

Anyone have any experience with the follow size wheels on a R34 GTT?

F - 18*9+22 running 245//35//18 rubber

R - 18*10+30 with 265//35//18 rubber

I am looking at getting some wheels for my GTT, currently running stock suspensions (planning on lowering after I find the right wheels.)

I'm hoping for the wheels to sit as flush as possible with the guards. Would also like to avoid stretching rubber.

I'm prepared to roll guards when I lower the car, but I'm wondering if any further work would be required??

Cheers!

Anyone know if a 275 tyre would have a bludge or straight side wall with 9.5 inch rims. Any pics would be appreaciated

They sit straight on the rims! Look in my build thread somewhere and you will find a pic! Too lazy to go find it for you!

I am in the market for new rims for my r33 gts4 and have narrowed the selection down to two designs, work vs-xx or meister s1

in either 18x9 +15 or 18x9.5 +20, both sizes and offsets should fit ok but I'm not 100% sure.

easy.

Thoughts on this size?

Rota Grids (concave version)

18x10 +35 offset

with 235-40-R18 and 245-40-R18 tyres

With the old tape measure there will be a bit of poke on the front, but im more concerned with what it might

touch under the arches!?!

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=55&diameter=16&wheelwidth=6.5&offset=40&width2=235&aspect2=40&diameter2=18&wheelwidth2=10&offset2=35&Submit=Submit

^with the 235 tyres for the front

Cheers guys!

18x10 +38 on the rear will be fine. Go 18x9 +30 on the front

You need to look back a few pages, try to find my post and pictures.

Short answer: Perfect. Get coilovers and slam it. I would change rubber to 225/45 and 245/45 personally for more low.

    • Evening fam, Pretty much what the title asks, I have looked all over and can’t find a proper answer expect one post from almost a decade ago which is vague. ive seen photos and they look pretty much identical, would an r33 GTR N1 reo work on an r32? reason I ask is they are cheaper to buy… $700 compared to 1k+ for an r32 n1 reo

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.

Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
