yep as in it will mess about with it?

is it the offset or the rolling diameter that does it? i did a comparison front to back which looks like this (on the calculators anyway)

Just got some new wheels for my car. TE37SL

18x8.5 +30 235 tyres

18x9.5 +40 265 tyres

Fronts are scrubbing if i corner hard and it's bumpy. Don't really wanna remove my guard liners. Might try roll guards.

18x8.5 +30 is a pretty conservative offset (conservative compared to what some people put on anyway). Before you roll guards try having a look at where it rubs on the liner and use a heat gun to heat and mould the area to clear. I have 18x9 +27 and unrolled guards and it doesn't really scrub once doing the above.

Rolling diameter. If you feel confident enough that the diameters will be close enough to being the same then go for it. I learnt from my experience (running a slightly larger tyre out back, out of desperation) to run identical wheel and tyre sizes all round (offset doesn't really matter).

ill see how it goes, i will be running 267x35*18 on all four. hopefully the extra inch width of the rim dosnt putt the tire too much and change the rolling diameter,

i cant see that it would tbh, but i dont know how sensitive they can be.

How much of a struggle would it be to fit the following?

R33 GTST S1

Front - 18x9.5 + 43
Rear - 18x10.5 + 45

I feel they will be that bit too big. My other option is:

Front - 18x9.5  + 38
Rear  - 18x9 + 35

I think the 9.5 front would be too big but worth asking?

Thanks!

Sounds like the first combo will hit the struts, those sound like Supra sizes.

Second combo, why wider at the front?
Nismo sizes are (usually) 8.5 +35 front and 9.5 +38 rear.

They are indeed from a supra the first set.

For the second set I got the offset round the wrong way.

Its

18x9+35 front

18x9.5+38 as you said.

Would the 9 be too much of a struggle? Better to stick to just an 8.5 front and 9.5 rear?

18x10.5 +15 with a 285/30 tyre with some negative camber (weekend/track car).. Won't have any issues with the low profile tyre rubbing on anything i'd guess?

Assuming BNR32, roll the rear guards, roll the front guards. Will most likely rub the plastic inner liner on the front (depending on wheel alignment and height).

I have 275/35 RS-3 on 10" +20 (want to go 285 next time). The front tyres will try to make room :P
