Hey guys,

Have narrowed my choice of rims down to two (for my 32 gts-t):

1. F: 18x8.5 +22

R: 18x9.5 +22

2. F: 18x9.5 +18

R: 18x9.5 +18

I realize the second option is quite aggressive, especially for a gts-t front, and would probably require lot of camber and stretching.

Thoughts? Opinions? All welcome...Thanks

Brake clearance, depend on rim design - what rims are you getting btw?

You'd need to run 245/40 tyres and roll the guards for sure. And maybe dial some camber for good measure.

I'd go for 2nd option if you don't mind doing the work required to fit. It'll look tough kinda reminded me of Abu's old R32 GTST.

1st option seems to be safe.

Really, it's up to you as in how prepared you are to make it fit.

Brake clearance will depend on the wheels design mostly, not offset.

They will hang out of your guards roughly 10-15mm so yes depending on how low you go you'll wanna roll and maybe flare your guards depeding on tyre width.

Would a 19x10.5 + 12 all round, be suited better ?

What do you guys recommend ?

*edit* also what tyres all round ? 245, 255 ?

TE37 have plenty of room to fit big brakes especially 19" diameter rims.

19x10.5 +12 is better suited for 33 GT-R.

As for tyres, 265/35 or 275/35, 33 GTR have plenty of room under the guards, maybe a minor guard lipping would suffice but once again it's up to tyres style.

+12 is perfect, I've got 10" +12s, sits maybe 2mm out of the guards.

Will have a chunky-ish kit put on so im worried they will look sunk in the guards...but i think it should be spot on then with 19x10.5 +12 and 275's....

thanks guys!!

r33 1998

20 inch

8.5 wide

35 offset

225 front 245 rear

look nice big 20s but everyday driving car being lowered almost 2 inches had to roll guards and remove innner plastic

you really feel the bumps and really have to watch out for pot holes .19s or smaller are probably better for everyday but something always have to be compromised looks or performance.

Skyline model = R31 Aus Spec

Wheel diameter = 18in

Wheel width = 7.5in

Wheel Offset = 40

Tyre size = 225/40

Modifications to fit = 5mm Spaces On Front to clear Strut/Spring Plate, 30mm bolt ons for the rear ONLY for looks.

Looking at putting

F - 19x8 - 55 Offset

R - 19x10 - 37.5 Offset

Recon these will fit?
