Rb26 Valve Guide Seals

Has anyone ever changed themselves (or had done for them) valve stem seals on an RB26 with the cylinder head still in place??

You need it all apart. Mine is currently getting rebuilt and its mandatory for them to replace the seals whenever you can! You will have to remove the cylinder head and remove all valves.. They are about $3 each or $10 each for genuine nissan ones.

Yeah i'm aware of that, but I have replaced valve guide seals on a couple of vehicles before using compressed air into the cylinder to keep the valves in place and a special tool to remove valve spring and retainers etc. Just wondering if anyone had performed such an exercise on RB26.
