Buying A Personal Import.

im looking at buying a car that was brought into the country as a personal import.

what are the legalities of this????

would i need to get it complied or does it still run under the rules of a personal import???

any help appreciated

i'd think once a personal import always a personal import..

it only needs to get complied once, so therefor no need for compliance again.

as far as I know, and by looking at the DOTARS site, as long as the car has met all the legal requirements for it's INITIAL registration in Oz, there are no restrictions to selling it..
