Bov And Tiptronic

I just had a query, i know that blow off valves in automatics only sound when you take your foot off the accelerator, but what about tiptronic gearboxes (r34)?

same deal, throttle plate doesn't shut, it just delays the gear shift like in a normal automatic. Only does it if you take your foot off the accelerator

probably because its just basic knowledge on how the system works.

Like very basic knowledge.

BOV will only sound if your foot is snapped off the throttle. Is your foot coming off the throttle when you use the tiptronic?

Well, according to these forums, BOVs are the most important FORCED INDUCTION part of the car.

No offense dude, but if you are new to skylines take your time and just browse these forums, you will find enough info about most things.
