I dont get it, on that webiste what does "Original Height: 54mm" refer to?

The thickness of a GTR disc is greater (33mm) than the GTSt so I'd be concerned if they are selling that size in a narrow disc of 30mm. Maybe just an option for GTSt but not for GTR.

I think you will find that std Nissan, the R32 GTR is 296 x 32mm thk, whilst any Brembo equipped GTR, be it V-SpeII R32, R33/34 GTRs all use 324 x 30,, thk rotors.

From a cooling aspect, perhaps Nissan thought the increase in rotor diameter (296 to 324) was enough to offset the decrease in rotor thickness (32mm to 30mm), whilst getting the added brake torque from the larger rotor?

Also the increase in rotor size adds a fair bit of weight, so the thinner rotor woudl again help offset that.
