i was down in warragul yesterday, and whilest filling up my accent..

i noticed they had 2 new fuels,

unleaded plus (?) 95ron .... 2cents cheaper than the unleaded

boost98 - 98ron - 2cents more expensive than the unleaded

the thing is.. they have 10% ethanol in their petrol......

im not sure if its their introductory prices, but is it worth the saving over the regular non ethanol stuff?

has anyone tried it yet?

nissan dont reconmend it for cars under 2004, the fuel lines arent up for it, but filling it up every now and then, cant be bad...

Hey Muck. It's cheaper than normal due to the addition of ethenol. Since they add 10% to the the mix they aren't paying the taxes that normal petrol gets hit with .RON is a number given for a fuel"s resistance to knocking. Higher the RON the less chance it has of detonating. AV gas is high octane[105-120 ish], though pistol engined planes are very low compression and slow reving. Obviously you don't want a plane engine to knock while you are flying
