Exhaust Change 3 1/2" Mild To 3" Stainless

Just changed my exhaust over as I had a second system sitting around. -With 14.5 PSI the car (R32 GTR) made 236Kw on the old mild steel 3 1/2" cat back system with 4"tip. Good sounding system - not too loud, not to quiet.

-Wiith the second system; 3" cat back stainless, with 3 mufflers the car made 234Kw peak power (2Kw less than before) but gained around 5Kw throughout the midrange rpm band (Still on 14.5PSI). Stealthy as - very little noise.

Havn't had a chance to drive it with the new system on yet - cant wait.

Though some might find these results interesting.

I would think you might feel the slight gain in midrange...but not the overall decrease in power. Drive ya mums commo or falcon for an hour before you test drive your car after that work...mate you will think its bloudy awesome then with massive power gains everywhere!
