BOV change over ... Noise varying

Recommended Posts

Guest GodFather

I have a standard BOV on my R33 GTS-T quite loud and does this standard woosh when changing gears.

My mate recently removed his turbo from his 90 Supra GT Limited, and gave me his HKS Sequential BOV and fitting pipes.

(His BOV has the sneeze, the very different sound when changing gears)

When I fitted his BOV to my Skyline, it still did the standard noise that mine made, not the sexy sneeze sound.

Any ideas? Could a hose maybe have been too loose or something.

Ideas appreciated.

Cheers.

if you still have the standard bov sitting in it's standard location and you just plummed the new bov further from the throttle body, then it won't even be working.

You will need to either block off the standard bov or remove it and get an adapter plate for that spot which you can plumb in the new bov.
