Okay, this is a NEWBIE question as i own my Skyline now for only 2 weeks..

There is a button on the left hand side of the driver's seat which said Snow/A-T/Power.. anyone know what the differences are?

I leave mine on Power all the time.

One more question.. with my turbo i left my car idling for 1 -2 minutes after a good run, the turbo then makes a clinking noise? is this meant to be?

thanks all....

clinking sound, could be some engine parts cooling down...

my bro's civic also does the same, it goes clink clink clink clink clink clink

sounds like a timer, I think nothing to worry about, in fact all cars I had or driven in the past made that kind of tiny clicking sound after engine turned off... the sound should be pretty faint, you can only hear it if you're near the engine bay, it it's very loud, then maybe something is wrong

I agree with Inark....just the cooling down.

Pushead, there is a pdf (Sky is the Limit) one of the guys have written up, which give a brief intro into your new( well...new 4 u) Skyline. Do a search for the title, its quite helpful, will answer question u have, and question u dont know u have... :)

If u cant find it here, go to

forums.skylinesdownunder.com and also search there

no point in leaving the power button on, if u notice when on hard acceleration power button lights up automatically and turns off again once u back off and the o/d button just stops from shifting into 4th but upto around 140-150kms then I'd be needing 4th...:D
