Rb30??? Which Head

Hey All.

As you might have read i wanna put a rb26 into a s15.

i have now been readin more into i and see that there is promise in

useing a rb30 bottom end( which i assume is from the VL) and then

bolting a different head on which has two cams instead of one.

Question is

Which head is best.

RB26

RB25

Note: Either one i use will be getting a new set of cams and a decent port and polish

The bottom end will be rebuilt also with some other goodies..

SO WHICH HEAD IS BEST?

any other suggstions either, and i dont want to head bout the sr20 being better or good enuff too please

you really cant go past the rb26 head i know a few people with that set up and have really good power. What turbo do you think you'll run?

I am wantin a car to run low 11's do i might keep the twin turbo setup, just upgrade them

You don't need a 3 L bottom end to run low 11's.

MZRB26 has a s14 with RB26 run 11.2 recently but probably has more in it.

Also with the 3L you might have some real trouble getting a bonnet on.

With the RB 25/30 or 26/30 conversion wont you have bonnet clearance issues?

You will have more clearance with the Rb25 head because the Thottle and plenum are ontop of the head. just a thought
