Installing A Rear Strut Bar

Hey guys

How do you actually install an aftermarket Raer Strut brace. I look inside the boot but nothing. How excactly do you get axcess to the rear suspention from the top??

These are installed in the boot.

Remove the partition between boot cavity and battery.

Look on both sides under the parcel tray and you will see 2 rubber boots on each side.

Remove the rubber boots and you'll see some fixed threaded bolts.

These are the mounting points for your strut bar.

They dont look like it but they are.

You'll need some nuts aswell.

Actually this is incorrect on my R33 i had to actually remove the rear parcel shelf from inside the car to get axcess to the rear struts. Their is no way you can get to them from in the boot. R32 YES R33 NO.

I thought the same with my R33 but there are 2 bolts on each side in the boot cavity.

They are covereed over with a rubber "L" shaped sock.

Ive got a series 1 but I dont think they are different with the series 2?

Have you installed it yet?

hahahaah Dam man, SORRY your right. No shit i though they were part of the car didn't know that you could remove them.

Hey man I installed it today, keeping the partition. Not the best but ok i guess. hahah
