GTS-t VSPEC
rev210, I managed to beat that R34 last time, I think I got lucky though. You better be quick though, sounds like he has got a big turbo and race tyres on order. I doubt that the S-AFC will get you to 12's or 113mph, but you could be the fastest stock-tubo GTS-t around. osc@r
Well when is everyone planning on going down..? Next Wednesday the 29th..? It's starting to get rather competative around here. GTS-t VSPEC
Unless your using a shitload of Toluene, I can't see it making much difference unless you adjust your base timing. You should be able to run more advance with it in. But you weren't running full boost last time were you? Maybe it's time for that FMIC?haha. Guest Rhino
That yellow R34 only had a front mount and big tyres. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8519-plex-15th/page/10/#findComment-134935 Share on other sites

See'ya:burnout: 20% or so is all that will be necessary. 4L in 20L of fuel is quite an eye opener. I suggest you try it. I think I'll buy some nice rims and tyres before the fmic, after all both those mods are about looks more than anything  I ran around 10psi last time, on the 13.4 run. Thats what I consider to be 'full' boost. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8519-plex-15th/page/10/#findComment-134952 Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
Rhino, I know he was running only a FMIC and boost, putting out 208rwhp at the dyno, but he has ordered a big turbo etc, which should be going on soon. He's after big power, and he's got the money to do it. Rev210, I'll be keen to see the difference that the toluene makes to your times, if the difference is noticable then I may try it myself. macka
Can we get this toluene easy enough? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/8519-plex-15th/page/10/#findComment-135151 Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
Yeah, you can just buy it from the hardware store. rev210 has a place he uses, but most stores have it, works the same as an octane booster, but may provide more power aswell. I'm planning on running the VP 103, but at $110 per 20 litres, it's only good for the drags. rev210
Macka: dude most stores DON'T have it, I should know I've looked in just about all of them. Makit Hardware in Balcatta next to marlows balcatta. bout $24 for the 4L tin. Compares nicely with the cost of VP 103 for smaller volumes and craps on it for octane and energy value, it's just not as 'green'. It's well worth a try I have a litre in the fuel at the moment (20% mix) and it gives a good old kick. I'm sure you will like the extra timing Macka. GTS-t VSPEC
Strichnine, I think that Osc@r is wanting to get rid of his bleeder valve, send him a PM. You should have no probs making a 14, if Hicks and I can do it then anyone can. GTS-t VSPEC
Bringing two members together, I feel like a match maker. Although Osc@r had problems with spiking I don't think this will be as bad on a stock turbo, I used one for a while and it seemed to do OK, but compared to an EBC they suck.
