Hks Hyper D Coil Overs?

hi there i just recieved my coilovers the other day and i just have a couple of questions,

the first is they have Left and right written on them, is this looking from the front of the car or the rear?

and second they have valves on them like tyre valves for air, just wondering any idea what sort of pressure should be in them??

any ideas would be great thanks heaps.

Left = left hand side of the car, as in passenger's side, if it is right hand drive.

Right = right hand side of the car, as in driver's side, if it is right hand drive.

The valve is for inserting the nitrogen on assembly, that stops the oil from foaming up under heavy going. You can top up the nitrogen if it falls below the designed pressure, usually around 50 psi. But most would consider that a waste of time as it will only leak out again. Best to fix the seal that is leaking first, then top up the nitrogen.

thanks sydneykid just one more question, what pressure should the nitrogen be at and would there be any harm in just normal air?

Ive got the same coilovers for my GTR, am just waiting to put them back on. Have you had a go at adjusting the damping on them? Mine were super stiff before I took them out, is it just a matter of winding them down fully then doing a bit of trial and error adjusting to change the feel? I know they're gonna be hard as but at least a little give wouldnt hurt!

i havent put them in yet but i was under the impression that you change the dampening which is the little bolt on top of the shock when its still in the car. sorry if im no help.
