Heat Shield-what Material?

Hi, summer is coming to Melb, its' great but not for force induction cars. I really need to get my act togther and do something for my pods otherwise fuel consumtion is gonna be terible.

Anyway, i always see these photos of HEATSHIELDS on cars, simple ones ( not ARC..ect..) that looks like my $2 sunshade, that sort of reflective thing that keep engine heat away. Where can i get them and what are they call?
