i just took a pic of my turbo, and i found the ID plate for it..

i've researched and the part number i got is 700177-14

that would be a GT30 right?

Also what is on the plate is this, HB 6033....Does anybody know what that means?...

Yes what Doughboy said , 82mm 56 trim compressor same as GT3540R .

Sometimes turbos don't have an assembly number because they are a generic cartridge that is not sold to an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with specific turbine and compressor housings . The other number is probably a batch number . Note the Garrett Japan - this is where all the GT BB's are made .

I was looking at two HKS GT2530s for sale.

One tag said

BA 6256 J

GT2530-63T

446179-21

The other said

DD 0148 J

GT2530-63T

446179-21

Because the rest is the same I'm asuming that the

BA 6256 J and DD 0148 J are serial numbers and the BA one is older.

Can anyone confirm this?
