I have mine installed for about a month now and the results are very pleasing indeed. The car was fitted with a jap brand coilover previously and all they did was keep the car off the ground (just).

General driving is very comfy , firm with no harshness whatsoever. It soaks up some of the crazy potholes on our crappy roads with ease.

More spirited driving highlights just how good it really is. rough corners can be taken without fear of the car being thrown off line as the combo just soaks it up and holds the line perfectly. My only issue to date revolves around my set up. my car makes reasonable power (around 500 hpatw's) and when i power on to exit the corner the rear squats and bites so well it lifts the front to the point I start to lose grip and go in to understeer.

I am having the car corner weighted shortly and would like to hear your reccomendations on weight bias front to rear. From there it will be a matter of fine tuning with the sway bars to get it to its optimum.

I am also considering changeing my wheel setup to reflect the heavy front nature of a 33 skyline. We mostly set up with quite a large rear tyre and a smaller front. I am thinking a gtr type setup with the same front and rear should be a better deal than the staggered widths most of us currently use. Your thoughts Gary?

Despite some communication probs (partly my own doing) I am over the moon with the setup. It is also a far better part time drag proposition than Gary is letting on too. The car squats and bites hard. I would suggest that with a front revalve the rears would handle about anything on a 1/4 mile attack.

One happy customer. :P

I got my suspension (whiteline/bilstein group buy) fitted yesterday at Centreline in Thomastown. I'd just like to say Glenn & Chris have done a fantastic job. I dont know much about suspension (I know more now than I did before) but the difference in ride and balance was amazin. My car is close to 180K mark now and I think the suspension was original as it was completely pooched - including a bent shocker. I will be going back to Centreline in future and can recommend them to anyone wanting to get any suspension work.

Hey,

I have recently aquired a r33 4dr that is currently running G4 coilovers. The ride is rubbish and the car can hardly get power to the ground on a road with tiny bumps.

I have 3 questions:

Is this group buy still avaliable?

do 4drs and 2drs share suspension parts ?

What stock parts do I need to replace when I take out the G4 coils?

Thanx.

Hi Sydneykid ive got a gtr r32 ohlins suspention[far to stiff for a daily driver and stut tops are rooted spherical bearings ect.]

I was wondering if i purchaced one of you bilstein/whiteline suspention kits do they come with stut tops?

sorry i this sounds stupid just want to be sure. What would you recomend me geting camber kit wise, stabaliser bars ect? Would like ride height to be 355 front and 345 rear steet use maybe the odd track day, already have stut braces but nothing else.If its not to much trouble would you be able to price up complete kit for us.

Thanks heaps regards Tristan

Hi Sydneykid, I'm trying to get in contact with you guys about an order I placed with Matt via MSN last month but I've had endless trouble with MSN since. Please pm me as soon as you can, obviously you have a bit of an inbox queue to clean out first :)

Hey Sydneykid,

I was just wondering if you sold Bilstein coilovers as a part of this group buy or weather it was just for the shocks and springs.

If you do sell coilovers aswell could you please pm me a price for these as I would be very interested in a set.

Cheers

Tave

    • I'm selling my personal race car. 1992 BNR32 Skyline GT-R About eight years ago the engine developed the dreaded low oil pressure problem. I removed it and found the issue. However shortly after I moved half way across the country, moved my work shop, bought a house, got married, then moved my shop again to it's permanent location for the time being. in turn I do not have the time to race this car as it should be. In turn the engine I built for this car will end up in my street car and this car I hope finds a home with someone who can use it to it's full potential. The roll bar was built by Jason Noren Fabricaiton in Pomona California to SCCA and NASA Specs. The car used to compete in redline time attack and global time attack enthusiast class. It also has a fire suppression system.  The car is with me at my workshop in Kyle Texas, USA. Shipping it is no problem, I can personally deliver the car to the port of either Houston or Los Angeles. Any other port depending on where it is may require transport but we can always work that out.   The chassis itself is rust free, rear quarters and under fenders are free of any rust so it's a very solid foundation for anyone who wishes to move forward with it. As posted and at the asking price of $20,000 USD the car includes all of the following;   All OEM Body panels, front fenders, rear bumpers etc.  OEM Nissan Projector headlamps (Pictured N1 lamps were removed) OEM Nismo Side Skirts / Extensions OEM Rear Spats  Front & Rear Subframes are installed car is full roller Rear Subframe has Cusco Camber Arms, Whiteline HICAS Elimination Front Subframe has Whiteline tension rods and whiteline Sway bars w/ endlinks.  Buddy Club N1 Coilovers All chassis wiring and engine wiring is in tact. Attessa System is fully in tact and was functional before engine removal.  BCNR33 GT-R Brembo Brakes F+R with Endless MX72 Plus Pads, DBA Rotors & Stainless Steel Brake lines Billion Racing Radiator Billion Radiator Hoses Fluidyne Engine Oil Cooler Accusump System (trunk Mounted) 5 Speed Transmission w/ Transfer Case F+R Prop-shafts Rear Differential With rear Axles.  Nismo Gauge Cluster Nismo Clutch + Flywheel   Essentially what is needed to make this car running and driving again is as follows: A working Engine, an ECU, and time to put it together. The price posted is or best offer as I am willing to remove some components to accommodate price to a certain extent. If any serious buyer wants full detailed pictures, videos, or any questions I'll be happy to answer them. I believe this car is priced to move quickly considering it's a rust free and very straight chassis but always open to fair negotiation.  I can be contacted via phone or email. • So...to my (and my mechanics doing the swap) surprise...the oil pan from NEO engine does not fit 100% and needs to by modified like this: It is not a huge problem but in the future i want a "proper" oil pan. So question is...what different oil pan can i get to fit without any problems and modification? Thanks!
    • Some more info I found.  These are the last entries Yoshikiyo Fujii made on his blog before he passed away in 2009: http://blog.livedoor.jp/fujii_dynamics/ And finally this is where the workshop was situated:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/HhTPtHzt3WVcBTiEA
