[R33 FOR ME]

i recently just bought a r33 skyline automatic and i just wanted to know how much the standard boost should be,,. and with the boost gauge does it start from -7 or from 0... thankyou

try a search, mate

0 is the beginning of making boost, and an R33 should make it to about +3.5ish on the stock gauge, which is about 7psi

below 0 it's in vacuum - over 0 is boost as said above..

+7 = 14.5psi or 1 bar pretty much..

as there is a dual stage boost solenoid - < 4,500rpm it should be 5psi or below half.. than it should go to a bit over half - 8psi from > 4,500rpm..

i'd suggest getting a boost gauge..

i'd suggest not getting a boost gauge unless you are running more than 1bar or 14.3psi - don't wast your money

and its actually 7.6 on the gauge that is equivalent to 1 bar, not 7

I've found my boost guage to be awesome help.

I'd recommend everyone get one as their first mod if they're planning on doing anything to their car (performance wise).
