Speed Limit Removal Of A 34 Gtr

Just curious if the old 'wire 53' cut is still OK with 34 GTR's as I know the computers are different.

Anyone done it?

For a R34 GTR spend the $200 and get a Speed Limit Cut computer.

new ECU, Apexi RSM, SLD they'll all do the job for you.

only difference being other functions of the various products.

I have an RSM in my other car..it just cuts the wire basically

Rick the RSM will allow you to take the speed input and display it, then output a different speed (in my case 170kmh) so the limiter never cuts in. It has a different setup on each car but yes a wire cut is required. Done sensibly with bulet connectors it can be reversed in seconds.
