R32 Gtst Type M

I am curently looking at buying a 1990 type m r32 gtst and was wondering if the airbox is meant to make a loud spooling noise i am worried that the turbo might be on its last legs. It does not blow white smoke and only has done 70,000 kms i am just worried and dont want to spend extra money on a new turbo, if any one still has their stock airbox on and has this same noise please let me know. cheers

Sounds a bit weird.. Sure the owner hasn't cut an extra hole at the bottom of the airbox or something like this for extra flow? I've done that to mine, and it makes a fair induction noise.
