Connecting the horn for Steering wheel

Hi Guys

I am in the process of changing my sterring wheel but I do not know how to plug my horn.

My setup:

R32 GTST

HKB bosskit Model 115 for R32

Momo APache steering wheel

OK here goes. There is a black wire that has an L shaped end and the red wire that is flat in shape. On the bottom left is a plug that is plug in color.

So how do I plug the horn connectors ???

I did it recently but cant remeber how I did it. All I can remember was the horn had 2 connectors on it, but boss kit only had 1 wire. So I just plugged it in, and once its earthed, using the horn ring that should come with boss kit, it should work.

Should be some sort of connection. Depends on the boss kit.

The HKb has a circular ring that fits into the boss kit. Is that the horn ring. I have the other wire that was mentioned and it is black in color. But the red wire from the sterring wheel has nothing to plug in

anyone have any ideas about how to connect the horn ???

yep, that metal thing is the horn ring. As far as i remember, after the wheel was on, only one wire was coming out from the front, i then put the horn ring on, connected the wire to the horn and pushed the horn into place.. works fine.

How did you get on I am having the same trouble.

Not even sure I have the horn ring on correctly.

What I found out in the end the black cord connector gets cut and then u left with wire.

The red cord plugs in

Black cord goes between the steering wheel and the boss kit.

Only problem Hicas comes on after 10 minutes. Getting the car balanced anyway so makes no difference

u guys sure u got the right boss kits? if your 32 has hicas, then u need a hicas boss kit..

i know on my 33 when I did it, it was so simple. worked first go. I can take pics of it when I get back to melb this weekend.

When I removed the origonal wheel a black wire is attached to the horn button that fits onto the base of the lead with the white Hicass plug on it. The lead with the white plug also comes away with the origonal wheel. The Boss kit provided a new lead toplug into where the old one once was. Anyway this now provides one terminal to go onto one of two connectors on the MOMO horn switch. Neither seem to do anything.
