Air Con Compressor Pulley Removal ??????

[GRR-33]

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to remove the pulley wheel from the air conditioner compressor , and replace the bearing ? Also, has anyone done it without removing the compressor ?

There appears to be a hole in the centre of the cover on the front of the pulley, and what I'm thinking is it seems able to be done, but has ayone done it ?

The car is an R33 GTS25t.

Any help much appreciated.

I have just experienced the same issue. T

he bearing on the air con compressor pulley has gone... making a horrible grinding/screeching sound.

It looks like you can take it off.

Anyone have experience with this before?

Mate! A lot of the time its the pulley tensioner that is making the noise. Mine R33 did just that. If its the pulley tensioner, then its easy and cost only $20 for the bearing. Good luck!
