Heat Wrap

thinking about doing this tomorrow buying the wrap from autobarn and wrapping my exhaust manifold and dump pipe. What are the pro's and con's.

Do you wrap it in one peice or in several small peices.

How do you get it to stick down? metal cable ties? wire? whats the best method?

Should i paint/or not?

Any brands people can recommend?

i got some metal tie from bunnings (looks like a long length of solder) and used that.

they use it for tieing things down perhaps like fences, bits in the garden etc. Its galvinised and pretty cheap (7 bucks per roll)
