What Are These "drift Gloves" Covering?

Hey all,

Curious to know what my Jap-spec drift gloves are covering up - havnt had a chance to see the car yet.

Thinking its brake master cylinder (why?) and old intercooler pipe?

usually they cover the bits that leak under constant use like brake master cylinder, clutch thingy, power steering, etc so the fluid doesnt make a mess in the engine bay...

the reason is as mentioned above when a car is taken for a drift/track racing/motorkhana, etc these fluids leak out so the gloves absorbs the leakage really... hopefully its not covering any damage...

For those positions I would guestimate Brake master and Powersteering resivour

it is definately covering the Brake fluid Resevoir and Power Steering Resevoir for the reasons mentioned above

^^^ Yes, that is correct.

Nothing to worry about. Drifters cover the power steering resevoir as this can leak under high g-forces, and if the liquid leaks onto hot cooler piping or turbo it could potentially start a fire.
