Cheap +15kw For R32

My first post!

ok so i recently bought a r32 gtst type m, and love it!!

bought a simple mod chip for my skyline on ebay Celox "+15bhp" High performance power module"

cost me $30 and is suposed to be simple to fit, just locate the "Inlet Air Temp (IATs) sensorand use the chip to interupt it, causing ur ecu to think that ur running cooler so it advances timing.

Here in lies my poblem , i have searched numerous guides and CANNOT locate the (iATs)

I bought one too - but Ive since been told by forum members that that only the GTR has Inlet Air Temp sensor.

Best to put it on another car, such as a 5.0litre V8 Commodore or the likes (I know they have an IAT sensor, as Ive fitted one to a VR SS before, and it DID feel like there was a small power gain).

But this little resistor chip is no good for a R32/R33/R34 RB20 or RB25, as far as I have been told.

OK, so after e few more days research i was able to locate the IAT, but on a r33 gtst... still looking for it on the r32.. anyone wants details let me know

I would like to know where the inlet temp sensor is on the r33's.

Only the GTR's were released with the air inlet temp sensors.

im told by a japanese auto shop the r33 IAT sensor is toward the back of the plenum, its a purple plug with 2 wires coming from it, as shown in the pic

thats on r33.. r32 doesn't have that..

the air temp sensor for the r32 is inside the afm, so ive been told by the tuning shop i use

Don't put it in. You have no idea how much it is going to advance the timing and how lean it will make the car run.

Oh and you do realise you just paid that money for a simple resistor worth less than 1c.....
