Hey sorry just to clarify. If I have an rb20det and I was looking to upgrade to an r33 turbo, all I would need to buy is the turbo and the elbow and i'd be sweet? nothing else needed?

Elbow + R33 turbo.

Thats all u need my friend.

not neccessarilly..but if you want to gain more HP then i suggest you do.

but you're better off getting a FMIC or an aftermarket comp.

i hav a fmic already.

will a straight rb25 turbo swap on a rb20 (no fuel system upgrade) cause the engine to lean out?

if so, what about using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

sorry bout bein a bit off topic but, does anyone know if the R34 turbo has a ceramic rear wheel aswell? or know how much boost they can take safely?

keen to find this out also as i hav one and hav been told it is both steel (alloy) and ceramic. i hav been told not to run it at more than about 12psi for a long life.

Ive done the swap aswell and you will find a god increase in power for the same boost.

If your not using a bc make sure you swap over the Actautors as the Rb25 one is set around 5psi from memory and the RB20 is set at 10 psi i think.

As jas/slo32 said its quite easy to do.

how do u do this?
