What Are The Boxes Hidden On The L/r Of The Boot?

Hi there..

I noticed that if you remove the trunk lining on the left and right hand walls in my R32 GTS-t, there is somthing bolted on both sides behind the metalwork, on the boot side of the tirewells... There are wires going to both, but havent been keen to pull them out... does anyone know what these are or what they do... was wondering if one of them might be for my rear demister or something (as I've having some probs with it at the mo, so I'm exploring)... I noticed a large Blue/Red wire going to the one on the left hand side, amongst others... any ideas?

i have a query too.. sorta the same.. but its an R33 GTS-t '95 model and it has a black box with like looks like a wiring loom coming out of it.. aswell as the kick panel computer wtf? or is that HICAS or something? (sorry for a bit of the hi-jack damo.. maybe someone can answer us both in one)

Does anybody know what these are in the R33 - Im thinking about taking them out as they take up a lot of space!

Thougth they may be amps for the standard system
