Can anyone tell me about OAT technology coolant? Not sure if it is a BRAND or a TYPE of coolant as I found some reference to Organic Acid Technology TYPE coolants on the net... anyone here have some experience with them? Apparently its a non-glycol... all the coolants we have at work are a glycol - either ethylene or propylene glycol - which I understood was a good thing, right?

The reason I asked is the workshop I got my service done at put that coolant in and I was wondering where, besides sourcing it from them, I could get it from..

Yeh I haven't heard anything about it either, apart from the small amount I found on the net which I'm not sure if it was meaning the same stuff. I think I'll just get it all flushed with my 100k service, Its doing its job tho, can't be farked flushing it myself atm..

Well just so you guys are warned - I asked a radiator mob about the coolant, they said that it is an Organic Acid and that was the brand name, It had also done some damage to my radiator, namely eating the rubber seals for the end tanks and causing it to leak :P ... I also had another problem with the radiator - that being the core was corroded from the inside out :) , I don;t know if they coolant and this problem are related but I can safely say I won't be using that coolant again.
