hey, i dont think you should import, as you will not know the condition of the car until it arrives. fair enough u will save some money, but best to buy one locally if you know exactly what condition of car you want. its not like there is no choice locally...

once again ill mention, in pics cars always look good. even if the paint was shit in real life it will look good in pictures.

since that car was complied under the new system i very much doubt it would have been in an accident, so i would not worry about that.

so yeah, dont import if u are picky with condition, also who wants to wait months....

its just that ive been hearing bad things about the guy selling it...thats not something you want to hear when there is the chance that you'll be giving him $17k

also, everyone keeps telling me how much choice there is. the truth is, if you want a white car, you're set! there's so many to choose from its not funny (its really not funny, it shits me!)

i wanted a black series 2 with good kms. not so low that they're bs, but not so high that the cars on the way out. manual. not worked off its head. doesnt have holes n shit drilled everywhere for gauges etc....

there really isnt as much choice as everyone would like to think

yeah i might mate...im not to keen on the importing thing...i always get a car im looking at checked by both a mechanic, and panel beater before i even think about buying it...

Make sure you run a Nissan FAST check on it to make sure it matches the VIN.. never can be too careful..

you dont even need to wind back you can just change the speedometer over out of a crashed one that had low k's at the time of its crash. so you can never be gauranteed of k's. but just driving the car will let you know. drive a few before pruchasing. thats the best way then you will feel what good ones and bad ones drive like.
