R34 Gtt Series 1.5?

Hey all,

Im looking at a 2000 Model Skyline at the moment, i notice that the plastic shroud on the engine does not have the red 'turbo' logo, just a plain one. Also there are 4 airbags (says srs on side of seat), but it has no other interor features of a SII R34.

Was there ever a Series 1.5? or have i just found a Series 1 with a series 2 engine?

It could be just a series 2 plastic engine cover.

thats the same as mine

the cover is plain grey

the seats has airbags in the side

its a series 1, mine is a 99 model

It says 0003 for Prod.M/Y

If there is no red on the cover then it is not a S1.

Are the dials white for the speedo and boost gauge?

About 2 year ago I test drove a 98 coupe - had side airbags and a sun roof, I'd stay they are options on both S1 and SII.

I remember this because there was a warming light indicating one of the side airbags was stuffed.
