Rb20 Transition Between On Boost And Off Boost

I've seen a thread about this before but can't find it. If anyone can point me in that direction i'd appricate it.

Anyway when i drive the car first thing in the morning its fine. But when i go home, it feels very sluggish off boost and you can feel the surge of power when it comes on boost at 3000rpm. Then it does this in every gear.

Its very frustrating to drive in traffic, but it usually goes away after ten minutes of driving. Though i've found that it comes back sometimes when on long trips on the hwy. My car sits at around 3000rpm while on the hwy and as it brushes over or under 3000rpm you can feel the transition, its not smooth.

sounds like a clogged fuel filter or a old pump........

I had this with a really clogged up pod filter.

Cleaned it and it was sweet again.

Pod filter is new so that should be ok.

I think i'll change the fuel filter as i haven't done that yet.

carl - which pump are you refering to?

fuel pump, when they get old or have been run down to the bottom of the tank a few times they tend to be a bit iffy.

check fuel filter first tho....
